Welcome back Flipsiders! Good to see you!!! I\u2019m assuming that you\u2019ve made your list of programs and the channels they\u2019re on. If you haven\u2019t done that stop reading, go put it together and then come back here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Back? Good! The first thing I want you to do is to check out your list and see what programs that you watch are over the air. Mark them down. Put a little check next to them on that paper. We\u2019ll start with those. Remember those sites that I told you about that show where the networks are broadcasting from? Also take notes next to them in regards to where to place your antenna in your house.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The next thing we\u2019re going to do is try some antennas! I\u2019m also going to give you a resource that you can use so that you don\u2019t have to try 49 antenna\u2019s. First a little rule. Those antenna that look like this… <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unless you’re very close to the transmitters, these aren\u2019t the best. You can use them if you are but you may not pick up all of the channels you want. Now I\u2019ve found that the best ones to get refurbished are a company named Mohu<\/a>. You can find them on Amazon<\/a> or you can order them on the company website (gomohu.com<\/a>). They have different models but personally the Mohu Leaf\u2122<\/a> has worked for me!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, hold your horses!!! I have a bit of info to drop on you before you buy. https:\/\/antennamanpa.com\/index.html<\/a>. this guy has a website and a bunch of videos. All he does is antennas and reception. In fact, he has a service where you tell him where you are and what stations you need and he\u2019ll test thing for you and recommend an appropriate antenna for your particular needs. While your at it, do what I did and subscribe to his YouTube channel (https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/@AntennaMan<\/a>)! Lots of great tip and tricks there. I love it and so will you. I find him hilarious and informative. After you deal with him you can count on his choice of antenna. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
