METOONS

Well, I have not had cable in years. Truth be told there were one or two channels that I watched on the regular so it was like paying for nothing. On top of that I had been with this company for over 25 years. To repay my loyalty they raised my monthly bill to just shy of $300 bucks. A friend of mine suggested that I call them up and explain to them exactly how long I had been with them and try to work out a deal to lower my bill. So, I called them up and laid everything out to them. “I’m sorry sir, there’s nothing I can […]

Adobe Portfolio Review

Adobe Portfolio Review

My main illustration tools are Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and rot animation Adobe Animate. I’ve used these 3 for about 20 or more years in fact I pay for the whole Adobe suite. A few year ago, I wanted to create a site of my work that loaded quickly and that I could send around to children’s book companies. One day while I was cruising the Adobe site, I came across an article on Adobe Portfolio I looked at a few sample sites that they had posted to show this service and was impressed with its simplicity and fast loading times. However, they really started cooking in the 70’s & 80’s and thats what I’m going to discuss here because well, dagnabbit I actually remember it! I’m also doing a series of articles on Dc Comics media in the 40’s, 50’s, 60’s and 70’s because there was a lot of it but more

Cut the cord – part two

Cut the cord – part two

Welcome back Flipsiders! Good to see you!!! I’m assuming that you’ve made your list of programs and the channels they’re on. If you haven’t done that stop reading, go put it together and then come back here. Back? Good! The first thing I want you to do is to check out your list and see what programs that you watch are over the air. Mark them down. Put a little check next to them on that paper. We’ll start with those. Remember those sites that I told you about that show where the networks are broadcasting from? Also take notes next to them in regards to where to place your

How to cut the cord #1…

How to cut the cord #1…

Alrighty! To make long story short, We want you to watch what we watch and pretty much save you some money. So, we decided to create a series that helps you do just that! Sounds fun, eh? Well, I’m pretty much a tech-head, so I’m going to walk you all through this thing because paying a million dollars a month sucks. I’ve tried to get my mother to do it but she thinks cord cutting requires a sharp object. I guess the first thing is… DO NOT JUST TELL YOUR CABLE COMPANY TO SUCK IT!!! You still neeed them or someone like them to get internet for the house. I
