This has been too long in coming, but it’s something I wish we had done sooner.

Welcome, to FLIPSIDE COMICS!

A company OF creators, FOR Creators.

Why, you ask? Because it’s simply time. We have the technology, we have the know-how, but we are hanging onto archaic business practices and distributions channels simply because people are too scared to move on and create a better way. What we need is to move forward. Flipside Comics is a new way and all you need to do is Subscribe and tell your neighbor, family, and friends about us.

We know we have an opportunity to make something special, and after talking about this very kind of thing for over 10 years, we have decided that was a risk worth taking, finally. This is the next step. The evolution of the comic book business and how it’s done. Over the last 70+ years the creators have taken a back seat to the business aspect of it and now it’s time for them to step up to the front. No more waiting for some publisher or editor to discover you, it’s time for creators to make themselves, to bet on themselves.

Flipside Comics cannot exist without you. You subscription to our site allows us to create something we think is meaningful and new. For that, we are extremely grateful. We’re very excited to share what’s coming. And we hope that you share what we’re doing with everyone you know.

Over the coming weeks, we’ll be posting new comics and articles on an almost daily basis. This coming year really represents the culmination of all we’ve been building for the last 2-3 years and the beginnings of what we’re going to call Flipside Originals. Which is where we hope to unleash a profusion of creators’ comics to you all. We are setting out to build a whole new way of making, reading, and distributing comics. But the very nature of what that means is going to change and grow with time.

We’ve been building so much behind the scenes that we can’t wait for you to see it all. That is not just hype we are working for this to truly become a site of untamed artistic expression, where imagination runs wild and creativity knows no bounds. The future is very, very bright. And we want you to be there for it.
